Lithuanian Counties
Note: According to the Law on
the "Territorial Administrative Units of the Republic of
Lithuania and their Boundaries", 19 Jul 1994, Lithuania
was divided into 10 counties (plural – apskritys,
singular – apskritis).
The county governments were abolished on 1 Jul
2010.
